Crown Packaging Corp. Receives Certification for ISTA and APASS Testing

Crown Packaging Offers Industry-Standard Tests to Deliver High-Quality Solutions to Its Customers

Crown Packaging Corp. is pleased to announce that we are officially certified to perform ISTA and APASS testing.

The International Safe Transit Association, also referred to as ISTA, is a nonprofit that empowers organizations to minimize product damage through effective package design. APASS is a testing protocol utilized by Amazon for vendors that sell products through the Amazon distribution network.

Our packaging test lab is capable of conducting simulated transportation and handling hazard tests in accordance with ISTA and APASS standards.

This process enhances the design phase, enabling Crown Packaging Corp. to determine the necessary materials to achieve a company’s desired level of protection. As a result, the packaging solutions our team produces are well-protected while maintaining cost efficiency.

Crown Packaging Corp. can develop new designs that meet customers’ shipping and handling criteria, ensuring products are protected without the risk of damage. Additionally, our test lab allows us to identify risks with a customer’s existing packaging and revise it to perform even better.

By being ISTA and APASS certified, our customers can trust that our test equipment is properly calibrated to perform the types of testing they require.
